My journey from a Robotic Existence to an Intentionally Designed Life.
In 2017, I faced a pivotal moment that changed my life forever.
I was in an executives meeting when our office manager interrupted with an urgent call from my children’s school. That sinking feeling set in; my first thought was one of my kids was hurt.
Then I realized it was nearly 4 PM… AAARGGHHH!
I had completely FORGOTTEN to pick up my three little boys.
As I rushed to my car, it felt like I had just finished my morning coffee, not nearly 4pm in the afternoon. The negative self-talk began: "You're such a bad mum. How could you forget your kids? You can’t do anything right." That sick feeling at the pit of my stomach set in, the thought of facing my children and their teacher filled me with dread and shame.
When I finally was on the road, every car seemed to conspire against me, moving in slow motion. Just when I thought the traffic had cleared, i hear ding ding ding ding. The boom gates for an oncoming train were coming down in front of me. Those gates coming down felt like a cruel metaphor for my life—stopping me in my tracks. Tears streamed down my face as I clutched the steering wheel, questioning how I had ended up here.
Externally, my life seemed perfect: a successful career, a loving family, a beautiful home, a thriving business, regular holidays and a bustling social life. But inside, my priorities were so misaligned. I was on the proverbial hamster wheel—coffee to wake up, wine to wind down (which only disrupted my sleep further). I was in survival mode, feeling robotic, exhausted and going nowhere. I had become completely disconnected from who I truly was. I was lost and knew I needed to change.
When I finally reached the school, my kids were fine, but I was a wreck. That day marked the turning point of my life.
Shortly after the breakthrough came when I began to reconnect with myself and understand how my inner operating system worked—my self-code. I realised that transforming my relationship with myself was key to finding fulfillment, clarity and balance. I started reprogramming my inner Operating System and the results have been incredible.
Within months, I resigned from my job, sold our house, travelled the country with our kids, bought land, designed my dream home and restructured our business. I had began intentionally designing my life with purpose and passion.
Today, as a coach and therapist, I draw from my personal journey to help others who feel robotic and disconnected from their true selves.
My mission is to teach 1,000,000 women how to reconnect with their authentic self and design the life they have always dreamt of.
